About the event

A Keele University Open Day offers prospective students the ideal chance to get a real feel for student life on one of the UK’s most picturesque campuses. Covering 600 acres, the grounds can be explored on a guided student-led tour or independently, at whatever pace suits best.

The day gets underway with sign-in at the Chancellor’s Building, where visitors receive their programme and a map of the campus. They can then attend a “Why Keele?” welcome talk, connect with academics and current students at subject-specific sessions, and drop in on support teams covering admissions, accommodation and student wellbeing.

Visitors are also encouraged to look around a selection of on-campus accommodation rooms, spend time at the Students’ Union, Library and Sports Centre, and stop for food or drink at one of the many cafes and restaurants spread across campus.

What to expect

  • Explore a stunning campus
  • Meet academics and students
  • Tour accommodation and facilities
  • Get answers from support teams
