About the event

Open days at University of Sheffield give prospective undergraduate students a structured and informative way to explore life at the university. These events include subject talks, where you hear directly from academics and students about your chosen courses and opportunities available there. You’ll also be able to visit award‑winning accommodation, see teaching and study facilities, and walk around the attractive campus with student ambassadors.

Throughout the day, university talks cover important topics such as student life, study abroad options, fees and funding, while an information fair showcases the support services available to students.  You can also chat informally with staff and current students at subject exhibitions and drop‑in sessions to get deeper insights into departments and student experiences.
